Doesn’t Shopify Markets already do this?
Section titled “Doesn’t Shopify Markets already do this?”No. Shopify Markets and Translate & Adapt localize text, currency and domains, but product images are the same in every market. GeoGallery adds that missing piece.
Country or language: which should I use?
Section titled “Country or language: which should I use?”Country for region-specific images (packaging, compliance labels, local models). Language for text inside images. Country first, then language uses a country image when the product has one and falls back to the language image. See Country vs language.
Can I show different images to UK and US customers?
Section titled “Can I show different images to UK and US customers?”Yes. Set Match images by to Country (or Country first, then language) and use GB_ and US_ prefixes. Note the UK’s code is GB, not UK.
Do I need localized versions of every image?
Section titled “Do I need localized versions of every image?”No. A localized image only replaces the default image with the same name. Every other default image stays visible to everyone.
What happens if there’s no image for a visitor’s language or country?
Section titled “What happens if there’s no image for a visitor’s language or country?”They see your default images, the ones without a code.
Does lowercase work?
Section titled “Does lowercase work?”Yes. fr_shirt.jpg works the same as FR_shirt.jpg.
Can I use codes like EN-GB or PT-BR?
Section titled “Can I use codes like EN-GB or PT-BR?”No. Codes are always two letters. In Language mode, all variants of a language share one code: Portuguese (Brazil) and Portuguese (Portugal) both use PT_.
Does GeoGallery slow down my store?
Section titled “Does GeoGallery slow down my store?”It adds no external scripts and makes no calls to outside servers from your storefront. It runs inside your theme’s own page rendering.
Which themes does it work with?
Section titled “Which themes does it work with?”GeoGallery works with any Online Store 2.0 theme, and we have tested it on 188 themes, including Dawn, Horizon, Prestige, Impulse, Impact, Symmetry, Focal and Empire. See the full list.
Can GeoGallery translate my images?
Section titled “Can GeoGallery translate my images?”Yes. AI image translation translates the text in your images, and you approve each one before it’s published.
Are my images used to train AI?
Section titled “Are my images used to train AI?”No. AI translation sends the images you choose to Google’s Gemini API. GeoGallery uses the paid API, and Google doesn’t use them to train its models. Generated images carry Google’s invisible SynthID watermark.
Do purchased AI credits expire?
Section titled “Do purchased AI credits expire?”No. Monthly plan credits refill every 30 days and don’t carry over; purchased credits never expire. See AI credits.
What happens on the Free plan after 3 products?
Section titled “What happens on the Free plan after 3 products?”Products beyond your 3 aren’t localized, so they show all of their images to everyone. See The Free plan.
How do I cancel?

Can you set GeoGallery up for me?
Section titled “Can you set GeoGallery up for me?”Yes, free. Email support@lenuslabs.com and we’ll send a Shopify collaborator request, limited to themes, products and apps, which you approve in your admin and can remove at any time. We add the block to your theme and check your product pages.
What if GeoGallery doesn’t work with my theme?
